What is VanX?
VanX is a platform where you easily book a van or moving elevator with driver. You enter the pickup and delivery address, see the price immediately and book securely online.
In what areas does VanX operate?
VanX is available nationwide. There is always a driver nearby.
What if something goes wrong with a ride?
Everything within VanX is automatic. If a ride does not go ahead or the driver does not show up, the amount is automatically refunded to the customer's account. Our system checks every ride and ensures that payments are handled fairly without you having to do anything.
Can I pay safely?
You pay securely online via iDEAL, credit card or other payment methods available on the platform. Payment is made entirely through VanX, providing security for both you and the driver.
Can I change or cancel my ride?
Yes, you can as long as the ride has not yet started. Log in to your account, go to your rides overview and choose 'Change' or 'Cancel'. Any charges will be clearly stated before you confirm.
How soon can I book a ride?
Within minutes. Enter the addresses, view the price and book directly online.
What can I have transported?
Anything that will fit in a van, such as furniture, white goods or moving boxes. Indicate when booking if the items are large or heavy.
Rides
Can I cancel my ride?
Yes. Up to 24 hours before departure, you can cancel free of charge. Within 24 hours the amount will be charged and the driver will receive his reimbursement.
What happens if the driver does not show up?
Then the full amount will be automatically refunded. VanX verifies this through the system.
What if the customer is not present?
If a customer is not ready or present, the driver marks it in the app. The driver then receives a full refund.
Does the driver help with lifting?
No, the driver does not help with lifting. You have to take care of this yourself.
Can I rate my driver?
Yes. You can leave a review after each ride.
How do I know who my driver is?
You will automatically receive the name and contact information once the ride is assigned.
Are rides insured?
Drivers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle and cargo are properly insured.
Account
How do I create an account?
You can create an account through the VanX app. Enter your information and confirm your email address.
Do I need to have an account to book?
No, but it is convenient. With an account, you can track rides and easily rebook them.
Can I change my information later?
Yes. You can always change your address, phone number or password through your profile.
What if I forget my password?
You can request a new password from the login page.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, get in touch via the contact form and we will remove your account within 24 hours.
Will I be billed for my rides?
Yes. After each ride, you can download your invoice from the app.
Drivers
How do I become a driver at VanX?
You sign up via our app or website, upload your details and link your bank account via Stripe. After approval, you can accept rides immediately.
What do I need to get started?
Your own van or moving elevator, a valid driver's license and a smartphone.
Do I need a Chamber of Commerce registration?
Ja, een KvK-inschrijving is verplicht om via VanX te kunnen rijden. Tijdens je registratieproces wordt dit duidelijk aangegeven en gecontroleerd. Als zelfstandige ben je daarnaast zelf verantwoordelijk voor je inkomsten, belastingaangifte en eventuele verzekeringen.
When will I be paid out?
You will automatically receive your earnings weekly via Stripe into your own bank account.
Can I control when I work?
Yes. You choose which rides you take on and when you drive. You set your own schedule.
What if a customer cancels?
If the customer cancels within 24 hours before departure, you as the driver will receive full compensation. If the customer cancels earlier, it is free of charge.
